As a dedicated scholar she has endeavored to train with a broad spectrum of master painters, thus enabling her to function most competently as a replication painter capable of asserting any prerequisite style. But beyond the restoration industry, she has also developed an artistic style all her own; one that resonates with both a disciplined reverence for the tradition of historical glass painting and the playfulness of a true creative spirit who is exploring her own imaginative vision. It is extremely rare to find a professional glass painter who excels at both the craft and art of their vocation. Kathy Jordan is such an artist.

Kathy & I have taught together for over a decade. She brings a focused energy to the classroom. She is generous in sharing her knowledge and problem solving in her approach. Kathy is able to assess what each student needs to learn and can also formulate a plan to help them reach their potential.

It was my personal pleasure to see first hand Kathy's demonstration of her considerable skill in a technique that demands a total commitment for improvement. She is emerging as one of America's treasures in this most difficult of art forms.
